Dutch Renaissance Dominos
This is a reproduction of an original 17th century set of Dominos preserved in the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands. Each of the 28 tiles has a unique caricature representing people from different aspects of society ranging from a minister to "grotesques" representing the devil and death. -Perhaps even a self-portrait of the unknown artist... They have been carved in relief and then cast in resin to simulate the original ivory tiles. Packaged in a French-finished presentation tray it makes a unique gift for any fan of gaming, history, or art. The individual tiles are about 1.5" x 1"
This set was selling for as much as $80.00, but the publisher has discontinued it and we were able to acquire a couple dozen sets as part of a clearance. As a result, these sets will only be available while our limited supply lasts.
As a bonus we include our own booklet Domino games.
