Two kings are sitting each on a cushing lying on a carpet with stripes. As befits the two royal personages, they play at the game called žemperadorÓ (Imperator). The starting position is as shown: Each players has all his 15 men piled on the ace point of this outer table. It is played with three dice.
The 15 men have to be brought round the board to the inner table of each player where they can be born. The game features two graduated wins, similar to the žgammonÓ and žback-gammonÓ of back-gammon. These are called barata and manera.
